COOKING TIPS
Many children think that cooking is a very difficult job that should be done only bytheir mother. This is not true. This seminar will show you that the art of cooking is as
simple as A B C. You only need to develop an interest in it and be a part of it. Note that
cooking is not just girls stuff. It is for everybody.-mummy, daddy and children (boys
and girls). However, there are important rules to obey while cooking. Rules for cooking:
1. Collect all cooking utensils and arrange them on the kitchen table or cabinet.
2. Clean all utensils (pots, spoons, plates, bowls, pans etc.)
3. Cover your hair.
4. Wash your hands with soap before you start cooking and after visiting the toilet.
5. Avoid sneezing into the food. If you want to sneeze, move away from the cooking
area, cover your nose with a handkerchief and sneeze into it.
6. To avoid accidents, be careful not to pour water or any liquid on the floor of the
kitchen.
7. Keep the kitchen and other work areas tidy. Wrap up any rubbish in waste paper
and throw into the waste bin.
8. Wear an overall or apron.
9. Do not remove sauce pan from the stove or oven with your bare hands. Use
kitchen gloves or napkins. Don‟t run in or out of the kitchen. Be calm and careful
as you help in the kitchen.
