SPREAD THE GOOD NEWS

SPREAD THE GOOD NEWS

Mark 16:15; Romans 10:13-15
Children, praise the Lord! The love of God is so great that He gave His only begotten
Son Jesus Christ, to die and save the world from the danger of suffering in hell fire
(John 3:16). It is sorry to say that many have not known or heard about this great story
of God‟s love. Therefore, many are dying in their sin and perishing in hell fire. For us
who have heard about the good news of God‟s love, Jesus do not want us keep silent
and continue to watch others suffer and go to hell fire. How then shall all these people
know about Jesus and call on Him for their salvation? How shall they hear without a
preacher? (Romans 10:14). This is the reason why Jesus command all who are His
friends to go everywhere in the world spreading the good news. The topic is in four
parts.

1. WHAT IS GOOD-NEWS?: John 3:16.

The good-news is the wonderful story of the love of God for called sinners that He has
given us Jesus who shed His blood for our sins. It is also called the gospel. Every boy
and girl who repent and come to Jesus asking for forgiveness will surely be forgiven,
cleansed in the blood of Jesus, and saved from the punishment of sin in hell fire.
Everlasting life with Jesus forever in heaven will also be his/her reward.

2. COMMAND TO SPREAD THE GOOD-NEWS: Mark 16:15.

The Lord Jesus Christ before going back to heaven commanded that all His friends
must spread the good-news, so that many sinners will know Him and become His
friends. Because it is the master‟s command, we must obey and go everywhere
spreading the good news. This is one thing that shows that we love Jesus and that we
are His friends (John 14:15; 15:14).

3. WHO ARE TO SPREAD THE GOOD-NEWS?: Matthew 4:18,19.

Jesus came to save the whole world from sin and from perishing in hell fire (John 3:16).
One of the major reasons why Jesus called His friends and saved them is that they also
can go and win others to come unto Him.
It is only the children that have repented from all their sins and have stopped doing bad
things that can do the work of God. Those that have said sorry to Jesus and have had
their hearts washed clean in His blood. This, are the people that are commanded to go
and tell others about Jesus and His love.

4. HOW CAN YOU SPREAD THE GOOD-NEWS?

There are many ways or methods you can use in spreading the good-news. Some of
these include: (a) person to person (personal evangelism). Telling somebody about Jesus
one at a time. (b) Inviting sinful boys and girls to retreat, Children Holiday Bible School,
crusades, the children church, or house fellowship. (c)Telling Bible stories that will
make sinners to know about Jesus and to love Him. (d) Sharing the testimony of how
you became a friend of Jesus with others. (e) Giving children-tracts and magazines to
sinful boys and girls (f) Caring for others and through this tell them about Jesus. (g)
Visiting sinful boys and girls in their houses where you can tell them about Jesus love
(h) Writing letters with Bible verses about the love of Jesus or sending telephone text
messages.
There are abundant blessings for the friend of Jesus that will obey and spread the
good-news. If you are not born-again yet, you can give your life to Jesus now. Tell the
Lord about your naughty ways and repent from them now. He will surely forgive you.
Then you can start to spread the good news of Jesus love to the whole world. Rise up
and pray.
